Here is a quick recipe of TOMATO PUREE AND ITS STORAGE
- First, cut the stem of tomatoes and give it a crosscut.
- Blanch the tomatoes.
(Put the tomatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes. Switch off the heat and cover the pan, let the tomatoes inside the water for 5 more minutes).
- Take ice cold water in a pan, transfer the tomatoes from hot to cold water. Leave it for 5 minutes.
- Peel the skin of the tomatoes. Blend them to a puree.
- Cook the blended puree on a low flame for 30 minutes or till you get the desired consistency.
NOTE: THIS PUREE CAN BE STORED IN A FREEZER FOR 1 MONTH IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER.
IF YOU WANT TO STORE IT FOR A LONGER TIME ADD ½ CUP OF VINEGAR TO 1 KG OF TOMATOES WHILE BOILING.

Banana – 1 small (mashed)
Peanut butter – 1 ½ tbsp
Egg white – 1
Vanilla essence – ¼ tsp
Dry thandai masala
