Simple Yogurt Dip

Here is the recipe for simple Yogurt Dip:

  • Mix together ¾ cup hung curd.
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • ¼ tsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Amul cream and 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Add salt and pepper as per taste.

Serve cold with plain potato wafers or French Fries or crackers.

Here is a quick recipe of TOMATO PUREE AND ITS STORAGE

  • First, cut the stem of tomatoes and give it a crosscut.
  • Blanch the tomatoes.
    (Put the tomatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes. Switch off the heat and cover the pan, let the tomatoes inside the water for 5 more minutes).
  • Take ice cold water in a pan, transfer the tomatoes from hot to cold water. Leave it for 5 minutes.
  • Peel the skin of the tomatoes. Blend them to a puree.
  • Cook the blended puree on a low flame for 30 minutes or till you get the desired consistency.

 

NOTE: THIS PUREE CAN BE STORED IN A FREEZER FOR 1 MONTH IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER.

IF YOU WANT TO STORE IT FOR A LONGER TIME ADD ½ CUP OF VINEGAR TO 1 KG OF TOMATOES WHILE BOILING.
